Daylogue: A System for Self-Understanding

Daylogue is an AI journal built as a system for self-understanding. It helps you understand yourself over time and notices what you'd miss. Short voice and text check-ins become evidence-backed reads and serialized narratives that can pick up where the last one left off. Not therapy. Not a replacement for professional care.

What is Daylogue?

Daylogue is a system for self-understanding. Pattern journaling is how it reads you. It captures mood, energy, stress, and daily experience through short check-ins, then shows recurring connections and turns accepted threads into readable stories over time.

How does Daylogue work?

Each day you do a quick check-in by voice or text. Daylogue asks a question, you answer, and it follows up. Mood, energy, stress, and sleep are captured in a conversation that takes about two minutes. Over weeks, Daylogue surfaces the connections between those days and the themes that keep coming back — your stress running higher on the nights you logged under six hours — then writes a serialized narrative: an ongoing story about your emotional life. One check-in is a data point. A month of check-ins is a story.

What makes Daylogue different from other reflection tools?

Daylogue shows why a read appeared, which check-ins contributed, and where the limits are. You can decide whether it fits and which threads should carry forward into an ongoing narrative. It reads what you choose to share; it does not generate advice or infer emotion from faces, voice tone, or physiology. It has no streaks, scores, or guilt mechanics. Two provisional patent applications have been filed on the core technology.

Is Daylogue private and secure?

Daylogue encrypts your data in transit with TLS and enforces strict per-user access controls and row-level isolation, so no other user or unauthorized party can access your entries, and entry text is kept out of Daylogue's application logs and error reports. Daylogue is not end-to-end encrypted, and there is no setting that makes entries unreadable to Daylogue: Daylogue's servers do read entry text in order to write narratives and surface patterns. Your data is never sold. Daylogue does not use your entries to train its own models.

Who is Daylogue for?

Daylogue is for people who want their history to become more useful over time. It works for people who think out loud, prefer short check-ins, or want more self-awareness without the guilt of a blank page. It is a reflection tool, not a clinical product.

Is Daylogue free?

Yes, Daylogue is free to start. There is a 7-day free trial. No credit card required. Subscriptions are available for full access to narrative features and pattern detection.

Sound familiar?

You’ve tried journaling before.

It didn’t stick. That’s not your fault.

The blank page

You opened the app. Nothing came out. So you closed it and felt worse than before you started.

The fog

You know some weeks feel heavier. But you can't explain why. You can feel it, you just can't see it.

The forgetting

By Friday, Monday is gone. By next month, this month is a blur. Your days are happening, but nobody's keeping track.

The quiet

The kids are grown. The job is done. The house is still by 9am. You're not stressed. You're just not sure what comes next.

The experience

From a moment to your story.
