Using Daylogue Groups
Join a group
Open the organizer’s invitation, sign in or create an account, verify your email, and review the sharing notice. Groups is available to eligible accounts age 15 and older. A missing birthday can be added during setup. Joining and viewing published content are free.
Choose what to share
An activity can offer optional questions or simply provide project instructions. Resource links are optional. Every question is optional. Save a private draft or preview and share it with the organizer. Your display name accompanies submitted responses. Other participants cannot read them. You can delete a response later, but cannot recall information already read.
Organize a group
Organizer access is by invitation. Open your group under Choose a Space in V2. Choose Create activity or Manage invitation; required organizer terms appear in the panel. Accept them personally before saving content or creating a link. Create an invitation in your workspace; rotating it disables the previous link. Invitations last 90 days. Archived groups stop new enrollment and responses.
Create an activity
Choose Create activity. Add a title, instructions, an optional resource link, and optional questions. An activity without questions serves as an announcement or project instruction. Add up to 12 short-answer, long-answer, single-choice, or multiple-choice questions. Add choices, reorder questions with the move buttons, and preview the participant form and sharing summary. Save a draft, publish now, or schedule it. Once anyone saves a response, those questions cannot change; create a new activity for revised questions. Questions must concern the posted content and participation remains voluntary.
Content alerts
Content alerts are off by default. Turn them on in your group to request a generic push notification when new content is published. Your device must allow Daylogue notifications, and your notification preferences and quiet hours apply. Alerts contain no activity responses. Activities remain available even if an alert does not arrive.
Urgent support
Open Need urgent support? in Groups for US 988 call, text, and chat options, emergency numbers, and Childhelp guidance about abuse. Support links can also appear while you write a response. This does not send your draft or alert anyone. Group responses and support reports are not monitored for emergencies. Do not wait for an organizer or Daylogue support reply if you need urgent help.
Personal sponsorships
Some groups have a limited number of optional personal Daylogue sponsorships. Claiming one does not enable AI or share personal activity. A claimed sponsorship lasts 90 days without an automatic charge and continues if you leave the group. Existing subscriptions remain unchanged.
Today, Check-In, and Students
Today shows the organizer’s published featured question. Choices remain a private draft until you review the exact answers and recipient and submit. Owners have a separate Check-In tab and dashboard card for their own private writing. Students is the owner view for school enrollment and completion; it does not show personal journals or goals. In Demo mode, every page is labeled Example data. Demo changes stay in the current session and never send invitations, consume sponsorships, or enter live totals. Resetting or leaving demo discards example changes after confirmation.
Leave or get help
Use Leave group and choose whether to delete previous responses. Your saved group responses in Groups lets you review and delete them after leaving. Use Report content or organizer to submit a report to Daylogue support. Groups is not an emergency service and does not promise human monitoring. Private journals and AI conversations are unavailable to organizers. Public Group membership does not enroll you in a class. School enrollment uses a separate individual code, verified email, and sharing notice after the school agreement is recorded. School records follow the school notice and retention process, including after public Group departure. No wellbeing measurement or research exports are provided.
