Call to Action
Daylogue's SMS check-in program is opt-in only. There is no web form, keyword, or checkout-based enrollment. Users must take the following steps inside the Daylogue app (daylogue.com) to enroll:
Navigate to Settings > SMS Check-ins
Tap "Add Phone Number" and enter their mobile number
Receive and enter a one-time verification code sent via SMS
Manually toggle "SMS check-ins" to ON
SMS is OFF by default. No messages are sent until the user completes all four steps.
Opt-in disclosure shown at the point of consent:
“By enabling SMS, you agree to receive recurring automated check-in texts from Daylogue at this number, up to 3 scheduled texts a day plus replies when you text us. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Marketing texts are separate and need their own consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.”
This disclosure is displayed on the same screen as the SMS toggle, visible before and at the time the user enables SMS.

Message Types
Daylogue sends the following types of SMS messages to opted-in users.
Daily check-in prompt
An outbound message asking how the user is feeling. The user replies, and Daylogue may send up to 4 follow-up messages within that single conversational session.
Check-in confirmation
A brief acknowledgment that the user's reflection was received and saved.
Weekly pattern summary
A periodic message noting the user's check-in patterns, directing them to the app for details.
Reminder
A gentle nudge for users who have opted into reminders, sent no more than once per week. Someone who has not checked in for 35 days may get one short note, once.
Check-in texts are part of the check-in program the user turned on. Marketing texts, such as a note before a Pro trial ends, are separate: they go only to people who tick their own marketing box, which is never pre-checked, at most 2 a month. STOP ends both.
AI personalization: Today every scheduled check-in prompt uses a reviewed template. If personalized openings are turned on later, aggregated data from your recent check-ins (mood trend, tags, check-in frequency) would be processed by our AI provider to write the opening message. That processing is ephemeral and no SMS content or AI inputs are stored by the AI provider. People with fewer than five check-ins and people under 18 would still get templates only, and a share of everyone else's prompts would stay templates.
Sample Messages
Here's what a typical SMS check-in looks like.

Tired but good. Had a long meeting but I handled it well.
Daylogue: Thanks for checking in. Your reflection has been saved. See your patterns at daylogue.com. Reply STOP to opt out.
More examples:
Daylogue: Good morning! Quick check-in: what's your energy like today? Just text back. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Daylogue: Your patterns are starting to take shape. Open the app to see what's coming through. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Daylogue: Hey. Just checking in when you have a moment. Reply with how things are going. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

Program Name
Daylogue SMS Check-ins
Organization
Daylogue LLC, Los Angeles, CA
Message Frequency
Up to 3 scheduled texts per day across every Daylogue text program, plus replies when the user texts in. Most people get 1 check-in prompt a day at the time they choose. If the user replies, a short conversation may follow in that session. Marketing texts, sent only with separate consent, are at most 2 per month. No scheduled texts are sent during the user's quiet hours. Users control their check-in schedule (daily, weekdays, or custom days) in app settings.
How to Opt In
In the Daylogue app or on daylogue.com, the user goes to Settings > SMS Check-ins, enters their phone number, verifies it with a one-time code, and turns SMS check-ins on. A user can also text a join keyword (such as START or LENS) to the Daylogue number, confirm with a one-time code, and reply GO. An assessment result offers a separate three-question text series with its own unchecked box. SMS is off by default, the disclosure is shown where consent is given, and each consent is recorded with its wording and time. No check-in texts are sent until the user completes every step.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You can also turn off SMS check-ins in the app settings. After STOP, replying START only lets your carrier deliver our texts again. It does not restart check-ins: to come back, turn SMS on again in Daylogue Settings.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email hello@daylogue.io.
Cost
Daylogue does not charge for SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Data Privacy
Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in consent records, and SMS opt-out data will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is stored securely and used only to deliver the messages you requested. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Consent
By opting in, you agree to receive automated text messages from Daylogue at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP or toggling off SMS in app settings.
