Account & Billing
Managing your subscription
You can view and manage your Daylogue subscription from your account settings. The process depends on whether you subscribed through the website or the iOS app.
Web subscriptions (Stripe)
If you subscribed on the web, go to Settings and open the Billing tab. You can view your current plan, see your next billing date, update your payment method, or cancel. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
iOS subscriptions (App Store)
If you subscribed through the iOS app, your subscription is managed by Apple. To change or cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, and find Daylogue. You can also manage it from Settings inside the Daylogue app, which will redirect you to the right place.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep paid access through the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that date, the account moves to the free plan. Canceling a plan does not by itself delete your account or journal history. Account deletion is a separate privacy choice. If you return later with the same account, your saved history remains subject to Daylogue’s current retention rules.
How to tell where you subscribed
Check the latest receipt first. A receipt from Apple means the App Store manages the plan. A Daylogue or Stripe receipt means you subscribed on the web. You can also open Daylogue Settings and look at Billing. The page should send you to the right billing service. Use the same Daylogue account on every device so the paid status can sync.
Changing plans and billing dates
The billing service will show the plans you can choose and when a change starts. Read the price and renewal date before you confirm. App Store billing dates and refund choices are controlled by Apple. Web billing is handled through the secure Stripe portal. Daylogue support can help you find the right screen, but we cannot edit an App Store charge for you.
If paid access looks wrong
First, make sure you are signed in to the Daylogue account that made the purchase. Then close and reopen the app so it can refresh the plan. On iOS, use Restore Purchases if that option appears. If the plan is still missing, email support with the receipt date and billing source. Do not send a full card number or account password.
