Account & Billing
Updating your payment method
How you update your payment method depends on where you originally subscribed.
Web subscribers
Go to Settings, then the Billing tab. Click "Manage Billing" to open the Stripe customer portal. From there you can update your credit card, switch payment methods, or view past invoices.
iOS subscribers
Apple manages your payment method for App Store subscriptions. To update it, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Payment & Shipping. Update your card there and it will apply to all your App Store subscriptions, including Daylogue.
Payment failed?
If a payment fails, the billing service may email you and retry the charge. Open the billing portal from Daylogue Settings rather than following a link you do not trust. Update the card or billing details there. If paid access ends, the account moves to the free plan. A failed payment does not by itself delete your journal history.
Find the billing service first
Look at your most recent receipt before changing anything. Apple receipts are managed in your Apple Account. Web receipts are managed through the Stripe portal linked from Daylogue. Updating a card in Stripe will not change the card on your Apple Account, and changing an Apple card will not update a separate web subscription.
Invoices, billing names, and receipts
Web subscribers can open Manage Billing to view past invoices and edit the billing name or address available in Stripe. App Store subscribers can find purchase history and receipts through Apple. If you need help locating a charge, send support the charge date, amount, and billing source. Never email a full card number, security code, password, or recovery key.
If the new card does not work
Check the card number, billing ZIP code, expiration date, and any bank approval request. Some banks block a new online or recurring charge until you approve it. If the billing portal accepts the card but Daylogue still shows the old plan, sign out and back in to refresh the account. Support can then check the plan status without needing your card details.
