Troubleshooting
Sync issues across devices
Daylogue syncs your check-ins and data through your account. If something seems out of sync, here is what to check.
Make sure you are signed in to the same account
Check that you are using the same email address on both the web app and the iOS app. Go to Settings on each platform and verify the email shown under your profile.
Check your connection
Daylogue needs an internet connection to sync. If you checked in while offline (on iOS), the data will sync the next time you open the app with a connection. Pull down to refresh on the dashboard if things look stale.
Data showing on one device but not the other?
Refresh the device where data is missing. If that does not work, close and reopen Daylogue. Sign out only after you know any offline entry has finished uploading, since an unsent local item may still be waiting on that device. If the issue remains, contact support with the date of the missing item and the device types. Do not paste the private entry into the message.
What should sync
Check-ins saved to your account should appear when another signed-in device refreshes. Some display settings, open drafts, downloads, or device permissions may stay local. A slow connection can make a new item appear on one screen before another. Give the first device time to finish, then refresh the second. Repeatedly creating the same entry can lead to duplicates.
If you wrote while offline
Keep Daylogue installed and leave the offline entry in place. Reconnect to a stable network, open the app, and wait for the sync state to settle. Avoid deleting the app or clearing browser data while an entry is still local. If the item shows an error, note the date and device before you retry so support can trace the event without seeing your journal text.
Safe details to send support
Share the email address on the account, device model, app or browser version, rough time of the last good sync, and whether the missing item was made offline. A screen capture of the error state may help, but crop out entry text, names, and other private details. Daylogue support should not need your password, recovery key, or the words in your journal to check a sync problem.
